Dr. Nguyen Van Huan currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Vietnam Advisory for Investment and Development (VAID). With over a decade of experience in artificial intelligence research and application, he is a pioneer in developing machine vision, biometrics, and practical AI solutions.
He earned his Ph.D. from Inha University in South Korea in 2012. Dr. Huan has been a visiting professor and a respected researcher with 33 international scientific publications. He has served as a technical expert on numerous high-tech projects in South Korea and the United States, and most recently as an advisor for the national biometric system in Tanzania.
At VAID, Dr. Huan is responsible for shaping the company’s technological strategy and developing AI-powered platforms for digital transformation, biometric recognition, fire and explosion alerts, behavioral monitoring, and other tailored AI solutions. Under his leadership, VAID is committed to delivering practical, intelligent, and enterprise-ready AI applications.
